Predicting Purchase Proneness of Anonymous User in Mobile Commerce

    Get PDF
In recent years, mobile commerce is developing rapidly because of the popularity of mobile devices. However, for the difficulty of the mobile device input, the users of the e-commerce websites usually don’t log on the website when they are browsing, which resulting in a situation that a large number of website visitors are anonymous users. In order to increase sales revenue and expand market share, an effective prediction of anonymous users’ purchases proneness is very helpful in providing targeted marketing strategy for website to induce anonymous users to purchase. In the past, customer segmentation was mainly analyzed and modeled by customers’ historical data. But the history data of anonymous users can’t be obtained on mobile commerce sites. This method is difficult to put into management practice. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a method based on random forest of using user clickstream data to forecast purchase proneness in real time. This method includes two stages: the model training part and the user purchasing proneness prediction part. In the model training part, a classifier based on random forest algorithm is trained. In the users\u27 predicting part, the classifier is used to predict the user\u27s purchase proneness in real time. The method proposed can be effectively applied in the real-time prediction of anonymous users\u27 purchasing proneness, and the results of prediction will help enterprises implement the marketing measures in real time

Over the past 30 years, there have been growing concerns on theenvironmental impacts of maritime transportation, which have attractedgreat attention from both academia and practitioners. Understandingdevelopments in this area can help guide future research. We conducteda comprehensive review of green shipping research, comprising 213papers published in transportation journals in SSCI of 2017 over theperiod 1988–2017. We find that research on green shipping hasincreased greatly since 2012, accounting for 77.5% of the reviewedpapers. The main focus today on green shipping was on air pollution, and the classification of green shipping practice, such as technical measures, operational options, market-based measures, and recycling andreusing, is becoming clear. According to the existing studies, futureresearch on green shipping must strengthen technology research tonot only solve practical problems, but also to establish a theoreticalgreen shipping system. Moreover, researchers from different countriescould cooperate with each other to give effective suggestions on settingstandards and laws of green shipping. Finally, we identify the futureresearch themes will focus on setting up green shipping system andlegislation and policy

Quasilinear Schr\"odinger equations: ground state and infinitely many normalized solutions

In the present paper, we study the normalized solutions for the following quasilinear Schr\"odinger equations: −Δu−uΔu2+λu=∣u∣p−2uin RN,-\Delta u-u\Delta u^2+\lambda u=|u|^{p-2}u \quad \text{in}~\mathbb R^N, with prescribed mass ∫RNu2=a2.\int_{\mathbb R^N} u^2=a^2. We first consider the mass-supercritical case p>4+4Np>4+\frac{4}{N}, which has not been studied before. By using a perturbation method, we succeed to prove the existence of ground state normalized solutions, and by applying the index theory, we obtain the existence of infinitely many normalized solutions. Then we turn to study the mass-critical case, i.e., p=4+4Np=4+\frac{4}{N}, and obtain some new existence results. Moreover, we also observe a concentration behavior of the ground state solutions
